Terms & Conditions The hire of bouncy castles and bouncy slides is entirely at the discretion of C&M Bouncers with regard to site suitability and weather conditions and the company reserves the right to cancel a booking at any time. The safe operation is the responsibility of the hirer and C&M Bouncers shall not be held responsible for any accidents/injuries howsoever caused. The hirer must monitor the activity on the equipment continuously, taking appropriate action to ensure the well being and safety of all users, especially the smaller, more vulnerable participants. Do not overload the castle. Llimit the number of users to approx 4 children on 10ft castles, 6 children on 12ft castles and 9 children on 15ft castles, this allows each child enough room to play safely. (Allow more or less depending on the size and weight of the child.) The use of the bouncy castle or bouncy slide should be limited to those persons who, when standing on the bouncing surface are no taller than the bouncy castle walls. Dogs, cats or any other animals are not allowed on the castle, they should also be kept under control around the castle where for example an excited dog may bite it because of the movement. A responsible adult must stand at the front of the bouncy castle and supervise play on the bouncy castle at all times. The operating area at the front of the bouncy castle must be kept clear of onlookers and debris to ensure the supervisor has a clear field of vision and that users can mount and alight safely. If spectators are likely to become a problem in this respect it may be necessary to erect some form of crowd control barrier. The barrier should be at least 1.4m high and be capable of withstanding people leaning or being pushed against it and erected at least 1.8m from a walled side and 3.5m from an open side. When used outdoors the bouncy castle must be anchored down using all of the points provided. The anchor stake must be inserted through the hole in the anchor point and driven in flush with the ground. In the interests of safety it is imperative that stakes are driven into the ground to secure the castle. These stakes will penetrate to a depth of approx 300mm so there should be no problem with any damage to underground pipes or cables because they are supposed to be deeper than this. If, inadvertently, damage is caused to underground services, C&M Bouncers cannot be held responsible for the repair costs. The bouncy castle must not be set up in a wind higher than Force 5 on the Beaufort Scale. The fan which keeps the castle inflated is a demanding electrical appliance, C&M Bouncers cannot be held responsible for inadequacies in the hirer's power supply which cause it to overheat and subsequently cut-out. If the castle fails for any reason, evacuate immediately to prevent injury, switch off power at the mains, then check the blower tube has not come off or become untied, if so, slip the tube back on & tie it back up, switch back on at the mains. If this does not work call C&M Bouncers. |
